Farm Trail

UPDATE: WE ARE OPEN 10am - 4pm! However due to Covid -19 we have had to make some changes and must follow guidelines to make it safe for everyone!

There's no need to book tickets in advance, we have lots of space!

On arrival you will need to purchase wristbands at the ticket office, there may be a small queue to enter the animal barn (2 families at a time) this helps to stagger entry onto the farm trail where you will then have all the space you need.

We have lots of hidden corners to explore if your after even extra space, like our wildlife ponds, stone circle or bird hide.

Please don’t let a full first car park put you off. Remember we share the car park with 5 other businesses. There is more car parking if you drive past the farm. There is no time limit on the farm trail but once you have left you will not be able to re-enter.

There is a one way system around the farm that you must follow.

There will be extra handwashing and hand sanitisers onsite, so you can still feed our animals at £1/bag - Please do not bring your own feed.

Our outdoor play area is open - please read below the new rules.

All children remain the responsibility of the accompanying parent/guardian. Please make sure the children in your care adhere to the following guidelines whilst staying socially distanced from other groups.

  1. Wash hands and/or sanitise hands before and after using the play equipment.

  2. A maximum of 1 adult should accompany each child on the equipment, if needed.

  3. 1 child on each piece of equipment at a time (or each obstacle on the play trail).

  4. Limit contact with surfaces.

  5. No eating or drinking on the play equipment.

We will be cleaning the play areas regularly but advise you to be responsible for yourself and your child/ren's hygiene.

We want you and your children to enjoy our playground and picnic area. Please consider other users at all times.

**PLEASE NOTE: There are some steep hills and uneven surfaces, therefore it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or wheelchairs, however people usually manage fine with prams.
Thank you for your support and understanding as we try our best with this new way of working.

Aston Springs Farm Trail provides the perfect opportunity to get out and about experiencing nature as well as life on the farm. Take a stroll around our fields and woodland with our rare breed Berkshire pigs and piglets, chickens, sheep, goats, Rheas, Alpacas, red deer, donkeys and ponies, plus lots of natural wildlife. Relax and watch the kids enjoy our new outdoor play area, or even join in yourself! You can hire a fishing net and go pond dipping in our wildlife ponds to see what creepy crawlies you can find! Or why not purchase some bags of feed for the animals? The children will love feeding the baby goats & lambs and watching all the chickens come flocking towards them as they throw in the corn, or try something different and feed our extremely friendly Alpacas - even the big kids love it!

You can tailor your walk to make it as long or short as you desire. Some parts of the trail are not suitable for the faint hearted… there are some particularly steep climbs. But you can always take a break in one of our picnic areas, so don't forget to bring your sandwiches when the suns shining!

**In our small animal barn you will find MEERKATS, rabbits, guinea pigs,  our NEW reptile house, aviary & more!**

The farm changes as much as the weather so
