A frighteningly fun night!

Our first Halloween was a great success, the zombies, witches and vampires certainly gave everyone a scare around the farm trail. The disco and courtyard was full of little monsters running around, making crafts and dancing, sure to say they were having a spooktacular time!! Parents could be found in the buzzing resturant tucking into delicious pulled pork sandwiches and homemade pumpkin soup. It was a fangtastic night, so a HUGE thank you is in order to everyone at aston springs farm and those who spent weeks creating props, decorating the trail, dressing up and organsing the event!
I'm already looking forward to next Halloween for even more tricks and treats...

Scary Halloween at Aston Springs Farm

There are going to be lots of scary happenings at the farm this Halloween. We're very excited, but actually a bit nervous too.

We were going to have a fun time with craft activities followed by a fancy dress disco with lovely food in the resturant on 31st October between 5pm and 7pm. But now we've found out that the zombies that live in a scary hollow at the far end of the farm  want to come too. And the witches have said that if the zombies are going to be there, they don't want to be left out and will be coming along as well.

So the farm trail is going to be a lot more scary than normal. The last time the zombies and witches came out to play there were all sorts of supernatural things going on...but we were brave enough to go all the way around and we only screamed four times. Will you be brave enough to go round the trail too?

The thing that is really worrying us is all the naughty things they get up to on the rest of the farm. They get all the animals to join in, they put bats in the craft area, cobwebs all over the disco and, worst of all, they possessed our chef so he went really weird and we found things like eyeballs in the spaghetti!!

Even though it could end up a bit monstrous, we hope you will come along. There will still be fun activities and we need you to help us to be brave. Don't forget to bring your wellies and a torch for the haunted farm trail.
